About New Direction Health Care Solutions

It is a minority operated non-profit that is located at 3615 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave., Knoxville, TN. It has operated since 2017 as an organization under the fiscal responsibility of CONNECT Ministries (3615 Martin Luther King Jr., Ave., Knoxville, Tennessee). New Direction has since established itself as a chartered operational non-profit in the state of Tennessee and has applied for its 501(c) (3) status and is awaiting its determination letter. New Direction has a board of directors and an advisory committee that supports the work of the agency.

New Direction’s mission statement is

To provide health care services, programs and educational models to the community, with a specific focus on people of color. Its primary work during the pandemic has been focused on keeping the community and faith leaders and others informed and engaged to stay safe during the pandemic, provide accurate information about COVID-19 and sponsor community vaccine clinics.
